Walter Durk

You are

a breeze on this warm skin
finest denier screening summer sun
floating fingers as I look up
unheard movement of leaves
on thin branches above.

rivulets of water in rocky crevices
tendrils on a fence in sweet-pea bloom
the smile on a babys face in a carriage rolling by
gentle drops of rain
a whisper of the wind
dreams I have at night
as you follow me there.

You are here, you are there
you're everywhere
I know
the mantis tells me so.
